Meeting Your Child's Needs
Our Programs for Your Loving Child
The child-centered environment at Rosa Lee Young Childhood Center allows your child to grow into a self-confident individual. Our programs are tailored to provide you with a secure, safe, affordable, and nurturing program for your children.
Meeting Your Child's Needs

Toddler Program
(18 months to 3 years)
Teachers work with small groups of toddlers helping them grow and develop a trust of others in a safe, consistent atmosphere. The Center’s warm, nurturing atmosphere helps to ease separation.
Pre-School Program
We provide small classes for our three and four year olds. This allows teachers to facilitate children’s individual learning. Teachers provide a curriculum that develops prerequisite skills for reading and writing, social studies, science and math, as well as the arts.
Pre-Kindergarten Program
The children in our pre-kindergarten class engage in activities designed to develop skills essential to school success and life-long learning focusing on Kindergarten readiness. Children continue
to build skills for reading and writing, social studies, science and math, as well as the
arts while developing independence, responsibility, self-expression, and critical thinking.
Summer Program
The Center offers a Summer Program for all age groups. Grades 1-5 take trips to pools, parks, and points of interest on Long Island. The facility is fully air-conditioned.
